It turns out that best-selling international horror author and screenwriter, Michael Brent Collings, is a super funny guy. He and I were both authors speaking at the recent FanX convention in Salt Lake City and happened to meet in the “Green Room” where all of the speakers hung out. Let me tell you, that Green Room was pretty fun….great food, a floor to ceiling wall of windows overlooking the gigantic expo rooms, and 2 massage chairs!
I entered the room to get something to eat after one of the panels I was speaking on and saw a bunch of people laughing at one of the tables. One of the guys seemed to be doing all of the entertaining, so I immediately wanted to meet him. I plopped myself down at the table and introduced myself to everyone and quickly got sucked into Michael Brent Collings’ amusing stories. When he found out that I was “Movie Review Mom”, he quickly gushed how he loves my movie reviews, especially the “Tips for Parents” section since he is a father and appreciates the head’s up on movie content to help him decide which movies to let his kids see. Awesome! That’s exactly why I created the web site and YouTube channel!
The video clip I’m going to show you is our THIRD attempt at filming his endorsement! For some reason, my camera kept stopping and we’d have to start all over again. As they say, “Third times a charm!”
