IN A NUTSHELL:

The single-location thriller is about a woman who mysteriously wakes up in a police interrogation room with no memory of what happened to the prior night. There’s more than meets the eye with the police station or the woman.

The film was written and directed by Felipe Mucci, with writing help by Jeremy Palmer. Both Abbie Cornish and Laz Alonso worked as executive producers.

THINGS I LIKED:

I’ve always liked Abbie Cornish. There’s something so likeable about her, no matter what role she plays. She gave a good, nuanced performance.
All of the cast members did a good job with Laz Alonso and Moon Bloodgood being standouts.
All of the characters have a short backstory and motivation.
I love crime mysteries with lots of twists like this one has. I love it when I’m not sure how a movie is going to end.
The musical score is really good by Matthew James.

THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE:

Act 1 is a bit slow but then the pace picks up.
Some of the plot points are pretty unrealistic.

TIPS FOR PARENTS:

Kids will be bored. It’s not appropriate for them to watch anyway.
We see dead, charred bodies
Several people die.
Violence
Some profanity, including F-bombs
Guns, knives, and other weapons are used
We see some gory torture.
