IN A NUTSHELL:

A young woman takes a trip to romantic Verona, Italy, after her breakup, only to find that the villa she reserved was double-booked and so she’ll have to share her vacation with a cynical British man.

THINGS I LIKED:

Both Kat Graham and Tom Hopper did a fine job. Romantic comedy suits their abilities. I just didn’t feel any genuine chemistry between the two.
There is quite a bit of humor. Some of it is over-the-top ridiculous, but not all of it lands.
We get to travel to Verona, Italy. Awww, Italy. I love it so much.
Sooo many cats. Ha ha
Fun fact: The character who plays Cassie is Tom Hopper’s wife in real life!

THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE:

The biggest problem is that neither of the lead characters is very likable. They definitely grow on us but we spend quite a bit of time not caring whether or not they actually get together. We DO, however, want SOMEONE to get together because, after all, this is Verona, Italy!
All of the characters felt like exaggerated cartoon characters.
This follows the Hallmark Channel movie formula exactly. For some viewers, that will be welcomed. Other viewers will be disappointed it’s not new and fresh.
The plot is ridiculous and super predictable.
