IN A NUTSHELL:

This psychological thriller is about a woman who uses her virtual reality therapy to exact revenge on her former friends.

The film was directed by Rebecca Eskreis. One of the characters in the movie is played by the writer of the screenplay, Seana Kofoed, who also co-produced the movie.

THINGS I LIKED:

This indie film features a great ensemble cast that you might not recognize, other than a few faces, and includes Seana Kofoed, Rebecca Creskoff, Alec Mapa, Kadeem Hardison,
All of the characters are clearly defined and very entertaining. Would you want to hang out with any of them?
I was interested to see what role virtual reality would play in the story. Because I have 4 sons, naturally, we have a bunch of virtual reality systems. My kids play a lot of the games and hang out with each other, but I like to use it for fun exercise! You don’t have to understand how VR works to get a kick out of this movie.
Some of the dialogue is quite amusing.
I loved that you couldn’t tell what was reality and what was virtual reality in quite a few scenes, especially the ambiguous ending.
The movie poster is intriguing and definitely makes you wonder what’s going on.
Act 1 is a reminder to all of us that your life can change in an instant. Terrible accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.

THINGS I DIDN’T LIKE:

It always annoys me when movies make the Christians look like freaks.
The tone of the movie shifts quite a bit from Act 1 to Act 3.
It’s hard to define which genre this movie fits into because its range includes drama, dark comedy, and even horror.

Profanity including F-bombs.
Kids will be bored.
Lots of bloody murders.
